Adriana Ortiz was born in Madrid, Spain, and moved to North Carolina where attended Guilford College and received her BA in Peace and Conflict studies. She received her 200-hour yoga certification at Peachtree Yoga Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Kahlo & Co Yoga was named in memory of her beloved Basset Hound, Kahlo Vera, and her K9 friends (hence Kahlo and company) who would attend the donation-based classes with their owners, benefitting the local no-kill shelter.
